SunRoof, an international start-up developing wholly 2-in-1 solar roofs and façades as well as solutions to support smart energy management, is rapidly implementing its mission to accelerate the transition to sustainable energy sources around the world. The first house with the SunRoof’s solar roof has recently been completed in southern Switzerland. This is proof that modern architecture can be smart, beautiful, economical, as well as friendly to the people and the environment at the same time. The project was carried out at the request of an investor seeking ecological solutions that were in harmony with the stunning Alpine landscape.
Integrated solutions are the future of construction
It was a pioneer project carried out by the SunRoof team in a foreign market. The 2-in-1 solar roof system was the key element. The innovative SunRoof technology combines house architecture with electricity-producing systems. Such a roof with integrated photovoltaic cells provides ‘green’ energy that can power any electrical appliance, provide heating and air conditioning, and even allow you to charge an electric car in your garage. This creates a new space for smart energy management
- said Lech Kaniuk, CEO at SunRoof.
Modern barn-style house - ecological and economical
The first house with the SunRoof’s solar roof has recently been completed in southern Switzerland, Termen.
SunRoof manufactures 2-in-1 solar roofs and innovative façades that generate electricity without having to install traditional photovoltaic modules. This is the best investment replacing the need for installing solar panels on top of a classic roof - the most efficient solution, the lowest carbon footprint, uncompromising elegance.
Our mission is to speed up the global transition to renewables by developing beautiful roofs that, by generating electricity, will cover the energy demand of the entire building.
