SunRoof, a Swedish start-up developing solar roofs and smart energy management solutions, has partnered with Porsche Inter Auto. Both companies seek to promote the sustainable development and innovative solutions in which they are involved. One of the results of these joint activities is the creation of the first solar carport for electric vehicles under the aegis of a car dealer.
Solar-powered electromobility
Our observations indicate that interest in electric and hybrid cars is growing
- said Peter Vošček, CEO of Porsche Inter Auto Poland.
SunRoof combines a non-standard approach to sustainable development and current environmental trends in various areas of our lives. Together we want to build a future that is important to us and our customers
- added Peter Vošček.
The first such car park
We equate home with a lifestyle that meets the challenges of modern life. We show a vision of the world in which the home is the beginning and the centre of energy independence. Working with Porsche Inter Auto Poland also gives us the opportunity to add another element to our vision – a more sustainable means of transport, in the form of an electric or hybrid car
- said Lech Kaniuk, CEO of SunRoof.

SunRoof manufactures 2-in-1 solar roofs and innovative façades that generate electricity without having to install traditional photovoltaic modules. This is the best investment replacing the need for installing solar panels on top of a classic roof - the most efficient solution, the lowest carbon footprint, uncompromising elegance.
Our mission is to speed up the global transition to renewables by developing beautiful roofs that, by generating electricity, will cover the energy demand of the entire building.
