The first house in Poland with a completely solar roof has recently been completed, making it the most ecological roof in the country

The 218 m2 solar roof generates 19,000 kWh of ecological energy, every year. This dwarfs traditional photovoltaic modules, which only cover sections of a roof. The annual savings are estimated at up to 15,000 zlotys. It is also worth noting that SunRoof is cheaper to install than a traditional roof based on PV panels

Even though it had to wait for Elon Musk to present his solar tiles before the photovoltaic revolution began to gain publicity, Lech Kaniuk's company had actually installed its first solar roofs 3 years earlier, in 2013. The company uses proven technologies (as confirmed by RISE), has more than 50 successful installations under its belt, several ongoing projects in partnership with large-scale developers and continues to rapidly expand in new foreign markets.

The designs can undoubtedly compete with Tesla's when it comes to aesthetics, but their efficiency leaves Musk's solutions in the dust.
